How the Weekend League Works
Each of the four weekends runs as its own independent ranking round. Rankings are based on percentage return on capital rather than account size, so a small account and a large account compete on the same basis — it's the return over the weekend window that determines placement, not the amount traded.
One opt-in covers every weekend that follows, so traders can join at any point during the competition and still qualify for the remaining weekends. Traders can also enter more than one eligible account, with each account ranked independently.
Eligible accounts additionally earn 2x ThinkRewards points on eligible weekend instruments throughout the competition, so qualifying trades earn extra rewards regardless of final ranking.

Regulatory Overview
ThinkMarkets operates through multiple regulated entities globally:
TF Global Markets (UK) Limited — regulated by the UK's Financial Conduct Authority (FCA), a Tier-1 regulator with strict client-money segregation and conduct standards.
TF Global Markets (Aust) Pty Ltd — regulated by the Australian Securities and Investments Commission (ASIC), also Tier-1.
TF Global Markets (Europe) Ltd — regulated by Cyprus's CySEC, providing MiFID-aligned protections across the EU.
ThinkMarkets South Africa (Pty) Ltd — regulated by South Africa's FSCA, a respected mid-tier regulator.
ThinkMarkets also holds licensing recognition in Japan through the JFSA.
With FCA, ASIC, and CySEC entities among its regulatory footprint, ThinkMarkets sits among the more heavily regulated brokers running competition-style promotions, giving traders a comparatively higher degree of oversight and client protection than offshore-only brokers.
What Traders Should Know
Ranking is based on percentage return, not account size — smaller accounts have an equal shot at placing.
You only need to opt in once to qualify for every remaining weekend in the competition.
Prizes are paid as ThinkRewards points (10 points = $1), not direct cash, and follow standard withdrawal rules.
Trading only the eligible weekend instruments (24/7 gold, silver, crypto, synthetic indices) counts toward competition ranking.
Multiple accounts can each be entered and are ranked independently, which can be useful for traders running separate strategies.
As with all broker promotions, confirm current terms and your eligibility directly with ThinkMarkets support before trading toward the competition.
Risk Disclaimer: Trading forex, CFDs, and cryptocurrency derivatives involves leverage and carries a high level of risk, including the possibility of losing more than your initial deposit. Weekend-only, high-volatility instruments such as crypto and synthetic indices can carry outsized risk. Promotional terms, eligibility, and reward structures can change at ThinkMarkets' discretion.
