Market Equity Monthly Forex Demo Trading Contest: Trade Risk-Free for Real Cash Prizes
Market Equity runs a recurring Demo Account Competition, letting traders compete on a risk-free virtual balance while aiming for real cash rewards. Each monthly round gives participants a $10,000 demo balance to trade with, and the top five finishers by account equity receive prize money credited to a real trading account.

How the Contest Works
Registration and trading period dates for each monthly round are listed on Market Equity's registration page, with trading hours following the platform's market opening and closing times. Each contestant trades individually on their own demo account, and only one account per participant is allowed — if multiple accounts linked to the same person are found, all of them will be disqualified.
Traders who register after a round has already started will be enrolled in the next available competition instead; the current round's schedule does not get extended. The winner is determined by the highest account equity at the end of the round, calculated after all open positions are closed and pending orders are cancelled. In the event of a tie, the participant with the highest number of total closed standard lots at the time of the winner announcement is ranked higher.
Traders who have previously won a ranked prize in an earlier Market Equity demo competition are not eligible to enter again. Market Equity also reserves the right to suspend or disqualify any participant at any time, without prior notice, if unfair manipulation or exploitation of the contest is suspected. Because the contest runs entirely on demo accounts, participating does not involve any real money, and by entering, participants waive any claim to profits or rewards beyond what's specified in these terms.

Conditions for Receiving Prizes
- Winning prize or bonus amounts are credited to the winner's real trading account, not the demo account used in the contest.
- To unlock the full bonus amount and any profits generated from it, a trader must close 10 lots for every USD 100 of prize value awarded.
- Deposits are permitted during the trading period while the bonus is active.
- Profits generated from the bonus can only be withdrawn once the lot-based conditions above are fully met.
- The bonus is valid for 60 days from its maturity date; unmet conditions after this window may result in forfeiture.
- Participants must be at least 18 years old, or 21 for residents of Kuwait, and must be legally permitted to participate under the laws of their country of residence.
- If a winner's account is linked to an Introducing Broker (IB), a new sub-account under the same name must be opened solely to receive the prize.
- Market Equity does not accept clients from the United States, Iran, North Korea, or Myanmar, and applies enhanced due diligence for clients from FATF grey-list countries. The company reserves the right to restrict participation or prize eligibility based on internal compliance policies.
Regulatory Overview: What to Check Before Participating
Market Equity operates under a license issued in Vanuatu (License No. 40221), an offshore jurisdiction. Vanuatu-licensed brokers can operate legally and offer real trading services, but the regulatory framework there involves lighter oversight and fewer investor protections compared to Tier-1 regulators such as the FCA or ASIC. It's a good idea to verify Market Equity's current license status directly on the Vanuatu Financial Services Commission register before depositing funds, especially since this contest's real cash prizes are ultimately paid into a live trading account subject to the broker's standard terms.
Since prize withdrawal is tied to a lot-based trading requirement (10 lots per USD 100) rather than a simple credit, traders should factor in that unlocking the full prize amount means generating real trading volume on a live account, which carries its own market risk separate from the risk-free demo contest itself.
What Traders Should Know Before Participating
- The contest itself carries zero capital risk since it's played entirely on a demo account — a useful way to test strategy and compete without funding an account first.
- The real risk begins after winning: unlocking prize money requires live trading volume, so treat the lot requirement as a genuine trading commitment, not a formality.
- One account per person is strictly enforced; using multiple accounts to improve your odds will result in disqualification.
- Past ranked-prize winners are excluded from future rounds, so this contest favors first-time or previously unplaced participants.
- Given Market Equity's offshore regulatory status, review the broker's standard account terms and withdrawal process independently before committing to the lot requirement.
Pre-Participation Notice: Registration dates, trading period windows, and specific round schedules are published on Market Equity's registration page and may change. Confirm the current round's dates and full terms directly with Market Equity before registering.
