How Ranking Works
Rankings are based on Profit % Return, calculated as:
(Floating P&L + Adjusted Closed Profit) ÷ (Starting Balance + Gross Deposits) × 100%
Key points about the calculation:
- Trades held for less than 3 minutes are treated as short-duration trades — profits from these are excluded but losses still count.
- Only trades opened and closed within the applicable stage period are counted.
- Additional deposits during a stage are included in the denominator and will affect your return percentage.
- Bonuses, credits, and non-trading transactions are excluded from the calculation.
How to Participate
- Register on the ATFX Client Portal and accept the World Trading Cup terms.
- Fund your designated MT5 live account with a minimum of USD 250.
- Trade actively — positions must be open for at least 3 minutes and spread across at least 10 different trading days per stage.
- Finish in the top 3 of your sub-region in Stage 1 to advance to Stage 2.
- Finish in the top 3 of your region in Stage 2 to be invited to the Stage 3 offline grand final.
Key Rules to Know Before Participating
- One account only — CopyTrade, IB rebate, Cent, MAM/PAMM, and EarnPlus accounts are excluded.
- Withdrawals during a stage may result in disqualification. Internal transfers between accounts are also not counted as deposits.
- The account used for this competition cannot be used in any other ATFX promotion simultaneously.
- Travel prizes for Stage 2/3 are non-transferable and non-exchangeable for cash. Winners are responsible for their own visa, travel insurance, and related costs — ATFX is not liable for visa rejections or travel disruptions.
- All taxes on prizes are the sole responsibility of the winner.
- Hedging across accounts, latency arbitrage, coordinated trading, and churning are strictly prohibited and will result in disqualification.
